Prior to embarking upon a career in real estate in 1998, Bernice held various senior leadership positions in sales, instruction and operations with an insurance broker. Her roles in the insurance industry required personal interactions with the client base and, indeed, this remains her favorite part of the real estate business; engaging and listening to what her clients need and want. Concurrent with her professional role in the insurance industry, Bernice was investing in and renovating residential properties. As such, she gained a strong grasp of financial and market dynamics and how these factors influence real estate pricing and investment performance.
Entering the world of real estate sales and marketing then, was a natural transition for Bernice. Combined, Bernice's professional corporate experience and her personal investment in the real estate market resulted in a unique portfolio of skills in customer service, finance, sales, marketing, technology and sharp negotiating skills that few real estate professionals can match.
Over the years she has continued to build on her skills and knowledge. This dedicated hard work has resulted in her achievement of several specialty designations: Seller Realtor Specialist, Accredited Buyer Representative, Senior Real Estate Specialist and Certified Negotiation Specialist. Bernice lives and breathes Real Estate.
